Gerard is clingy in his sleep. Frank knew this for years; on the tours, in the same van, god knows whose bed you end up falling asleep in. Occasionally they would all end up in one big mess of limbs--Ray on top of Gerard, arms looped around Mikey, and Frank perched on top like a Christmas ornament. Sometimes Gerard would hum them all a lullaby, and sometimes Ray would be sitting on his chest too hard for singing to be a possibility, but in any case, Frank had always known that Gerard affixed himself to whoever was nearest to him in his sleep.
Now, in the bed that they share on tour and off tour, Frank tightens his arms around Gerard's waist and thanks every lucky star in the sky that this man has decided to hold him closer than anyone else.
Secretly, Frank is clingy in bed as well.
Oh my god, I don't mind at all! This is basically the most useful my drawings can be if they can prompt a story from someone, that seriously makes me so happy.

*Mini Story*
Gerard woke suddenly in the middle of the night, feeling a presence. He sat up, looking around in the darkness of the hotel room.
"...Gee?" He jumps.
"F-Frankie? "
"Can...Can I sleep with you?"
"...Of course."
He feel the slightly smaller man climb into the bed, and he wraps his arms around him, feeling Frank nuzzle him before relaxing and falling back asleep. Gerard smiles, kissing his midgets head before falling back to sleep
